1. About us
ourchristmaseve.co.uk (“OurChristmasEve”) is run by THEUKECOMGROUP LTD, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 17528063). Our registered office is 128 City Road, London, EC1V 2NX, United Kingdom. You can contact us at hello@ourchristmaseve.co.uk.
By placing an order on our website, you agree to these terms. Please read them, along with our Refund, Shipping and Privacy policies, before you buy.
2. Your order
After you place an order, we’ll email you to confirm we’ve received it. This doesn’t mean we’ve accepted it. Our contract with you starts when we email to say your order has been dispatched. If we can’t accept your order (for example, because an item is out of stock or there’s a pricing error), we’ll tell you and won’t charge you, or we’ll refund you in full.
3. Products and sizes
We do our best to show our products accurately, but colours can look slightly different on different screens. Size guides are measurements of the products themselves and may vary by 1–3 cm. Please check them before ordering.
4. Personalised items
You’re responsible for checking that names and messages for personalised items are spelt correctly before you place your order. We’ll make them exactly as you type them. Personalised items can’t be cancelled or returned unless they’re faulty or we made a mistake. Please don’t ask us to personalise anything offensive, unlawful or that infringes someone else’s rights; we may refuse those orders.
5. Prices and payment
Prices are shown in pounds sterling (£) and include any UK VAT that applies. If you shop in another currency, prices are converted for your convenience, and your bank may charge its own conversion fees. Delivery costs are shown at checkout. Payment is taken when you place your order.
6. Delivery
Delivery times, costs and Christmas order dates are explained in our Shipping policy. Delivery times are estimates. Orders sent outside the UK may be charged import taxes or duties by the destination country.
7. Cancellations, returns and refunds
Your rights to cancel and return are explained in our Refund policy. Nothing in these terms affects your legal rights as a consumer, including your rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 and the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013.
8. Our responsibility to you
If we break these terms, we’re responsible for loss or damage you suffer that is a foreseeable result of our breach. We’re not responsible for losses that weren’t foreseeable, or for business losses, as our products are for personal use only. We don’t exclude or limit our responsibility for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that can’t be limited by law.
9. Using our website
All content on our website, including text, images, logos and designs, belongs to us or our partners. You may not copy or reuse it without our permission. We try to keep the website available and free from errors, but we can’t promise it will always be.
10. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The terms that apply to your order are the ones shown on our website when you placed it.
11. Law and disputes
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. If you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you can also bring proceedings in your local courts. If you have a complaint, please email hello@ourchristmaseve.co.uk first and we’ll do our best to put things right.
